Electrochemical process for aluminum that increases abrasion and corrosion resistance by converting the surface to a porous aluminum oxide layer.
Years of experience and R&D coupled with the industry leading PLC process controllers has resulted in process that is compatible with all aluminum alloys and surface treatments. Key process parameters automatically controlled include the chemistry temperature, ramp (include step ramps), pulsed current, pulsed voltage, current density, complex current/voltage wave forms, amp hour thickness control and part specific current/voltage recipes.
Exceptional anodizing control allows for the ability to hold thickness tolerances +/-.0001” and color matching batch to batch. The process is validated and proven reliable through a history of salt spray corrosion testing and coating weights that far exceed the MIL-SPEC requirements.
We are experts in dye and seal innovation and have standard processes for all dye formulations and sealing technologies available to the industry.
Hillock Anodizing, Inc. is committed to the continuous improvement of all products and services and is determined to remain the quality leader in Hillock Anodizing, Inc’s field of expertise.
