WHAT WE DO

Engineering and Process Development

Tolerancing

We can help before the parts are machined determine the machining tolerances to allow for the specified surface coating. We can also assist with post machining tolerancing and adjust the thickness of our anodic coatings to ensure parts meet the final size requirements.

Color Matching

Engineers will work with your company to create anodizing recipes and formulate dyes to match any custom color request.

Our labs are equipped with the latest color analysis equipment that measures the CIELAB color space of the actual dyed anodized component. Samples are prepared by matching the alloy and surface finish and then anodized in the pilot line. The anodizing recipe and dye formulation are adjusted until the final gloss, texture and color match the customer provided sample. The software system creates a pass fail criteria based on the color measurements so that the color can easily be verified in production. The formulation and acceptance criteria measurements are archived and available for future production runs.

Texture and Gloss

Our engineers will make sure the parts look and feel great without sacrificing the tolerances. We are experts at adjusting the mechanical finish, chemical pre-treatment and anodizing process so that the desired gloss and texture are achieved for the supplied alloy and final size requirements.

Performance Anodic Coating

Tell us how you want the coating to perform and we will engineer a Performance Anodic Coating to meet your requirements! Our experience with altering the process parameters to overcome standard anodizing performance shortcomings or material imperfections is why companies all over the world use our services. Our vast knowledge of the chemical processes, state of the art testing and analysis equipment, and knowledge of industry specifications ensures your engineered chemical process meets the performance and finishing specification requirements.

Finishing Experts

Our experience with engineering processes specific to customer performance requirements has had positive effects on our standard operating procedures. Many of the controls and methods that were necessary for the extreme demands were incorporated into our standard processes. These technologies that may be unknown to our market competitors are standard with us and allow for successful processing of difficult materials without the risk of common processing failures.
